Temple

A couple of months ago Matt was called to be an ordinance worker in the temple. What that means is he is there to assist patrons who come to worship and do work for their kindred dead. It also means that he leaves the house on Friday nights at 330 pm and doesn't come home until around 11pm. While we still had J&J I didn't go with him because of the time commitment away from the house. Now that they are gone and the other kids are old enough to take care of themselves (well, Corban hasn't caught a microwave on fire for years so I have some confidence) I decided it was my season to go and serve while he serves. Last night was beautiful. I love to be in the temple. I love the smell when I walk in the front doors. I love that I take my shoes off and wear white stockings or slippers through the corridors. I love feeling the spirit that emanates the building. Last night we served and this morning Dallin, Brittan and Makenna all get to serve in the baptistry. I hope our family can have a legacy of temple attending
