Happy Birthday Corban!

We told Corban he had to wait to celebrate his birthday until Saturday when Matt and Dallin got home from Dillingham. He was having NONE of that. He went to the store with me this morning and insisted on this watermelon cake. I gave in. Then he explained that he had to have ice cream with the cake. I gave in again. At the check out he begged for the Avengers balloon, which ended up in a tree, and I said fine. You only turn ten once right? We all went to Red Robin for dinner after spending 3 1/2 hours weeding at the farm. Dragonflies kept landing on him so I took this picture to record it. It's because he has a pure heart!

At Red Robin they sang Happy Birthday and gave him a sundae. When Bri asked if he was going to eat it he said no. Then she said, "Then why did you have them sing you happy birthday?" to which he replied., "I just wanted people to look at me!" You'd think he doesn't get enough attention.

And my two girls are getting so grown up and beautiful. I love them and they bring such a measure of joy to me.

Corban's favorite things at 10 years old:

"I never thought I would make it to this day. The best memories of me were everything. Except for the bad parts. The only ting I can remember from my childhood is when I was 4 in my kindergarten class. I remember I was in PE and we had to run around the room while the music was playing and when the music stopped we had to stop and sometimes I didn't stop. I would keep going forward and fall down. I remember one time when it was St Patricks day and the teacher dressed up like a 4 leaf clover. What my future looks like I will be a car fixer and I'll probably have a record on minecraft for the longest tunnel. I will probably also have something on minecraft and it will probably be nothing. My wife will be my wife and we will probably have 10 kids. My favorite number is 10 but when I turn 12 or 100 my number will change. Like if I'm 1 my favorite will be 1. I remember at Red Robins today I had a Big Tavern and I've had that two times in a row. It was really big and I don't think I could eat it again. And that is all!"
